Aventura Award - Portsview at the Waterways received a Property of Excellence Award at the  City of Aventura Arbor Day celebration on May 27, 2007. The award was for the Most Improved Property in Aventura. Congratulations to our Landscape Committee. See a photo of the award in our photo section.

TV Reception:   Residents who continue to experience reception problems on the lower channels should consider installing a digital converter box (i.e. digital receiver).  In addition to numerous additional channel choices, residents have found dramatically improved reception.  The receivers are available from Comcast at no charge and no monthly fee until January 2008 at which time the montly fee will be $2.99.  Contact Comcast at Comcast.com or 305-Comcast.

Townhome Termite Inspection:  The City of Aventura requires a terminte inspection every year. The inspection was completed and no termites were found.

New Pool Heaters:  Two new heat pump pool heaters were installed at Harbor Towers this week.  We expect significant savings in fuel costs with the new system.

New Aventura Park:  Work began this week on the new Aventura park to be located North of 213th Street.  The present park with the basketball court is slated to become a dog park.

Paving Yacht Club Drive:  The City of Aventura has completed the paving of Yacht Club Drive. We've heard good comments about the speed and quality of the work.

Notice of Special Meeting: A special meeting of all Harbor Towers Unit Owners is being called for  Wednesday, August 8th, at 7.00 pm, to discuss the assessment that is  being levied by the master association.  All Unit Owners of Harbor Towers are urged to attend.
