IMPORTANT REMINDER
HARBOR TOWERS RESIDENTS
THINGS TO DO BEFORE GOING AWAY
(IF YOU ARE GONE FOR MORE THAN 1 WEEK)
Steps to follow:
1. A/C must be left on and set at a minimum of 80 °F to prevent growth of mold, mildew, damage to clothes and furniture, termites and damage to other units and common areas.
2. Turn off the water heater breaker in the breaker box inside the unit.
3. Turn off main water valve located in air conditioner closet (See diagram posted in the Bulletin Board).
4. Drain and seal with plastic to avoid mold in toilettes.
5. Notify Management Office of the length of time your unit will be unoccupied.
6. Confirm that the Management has your key in case of emergency.
7. Update your emergency contact information with Management Office.
8. Have somebody to check your unit regularly. The toilettes need to be flushed once in a while if necessary. The main water must be turned on when someones flushes the toilets and then turn off again. Also, the A/C units and main water shut off for units 01 and 04 are in the common area hallway. The 02 and 03 units have the a/c and main water shut off in the units.
9. Residents that still have their original hot water heaters need to change them (the life of a hot water heater in the part of the country is about 8 years according to experts.
10. Remove all items from your balcony.

Attention Portsview 1 Residents
Effective immediately, all Portsview Tower I reidents must use their access card or fob when entering through the main entry door. The desk attendant will not be permitted to open the door automatically .
All persons entering the building without an access card or fob will be required to sign in and show ID.
All household members should carry an access card or fob with them at all times. Additional cards may be obtained in the management office.
Please cooperate with the lobby security staff in following these instructions designed for your greater safety
